Consultation For Sensitive Therapists

Sensitive Therapist Consultation with April Snow, LMFT

Being a Sensitive Therapist is hard sometimes, isn't it? You feel so deeply, take on the emotions of your clients, get easily overwhelmed in the process, and don't have enough energy for yourself.

You end up struggling to keep up with your non-HST colleagues who are seeing more clients but still seem to have more energy than you. I want you to know that you're not alone in this struggle and there is hope when you begin to honor your unique needs. This is where I can help.

I support Sensitive Therapists who:

  • feel overwhelmed, burned out, and want help to create a sustainable practice where they can thrive. This may include focusing on any or all of the following…

    • Creating a balanced daily schedule so you have time for sessions, admin work, and breaks

    • Identifying your ideal client/niche and setting up up a new client screening system so you're not feeling depleted by mismatched clients

    • Setting better boundaries and clear policies around your availability with clients

    • Creating systems and organization to reduce overwhelm

    • Realistic fee setting based on actual expenses and income needs

    • Delegating and outsourcing tasks

    • Planning out more space for time off without losing income

  • want to specialize in working with Highly Sensitive People (HSPs)

    • This will include defining what subset of the HSP population you want to work with and thinking about how to market to your ideal client.

  • are considering adding a “passive income” source

    • It's not as passive as you may think so it's important to get clear on what you're passionate about and the steps to make sure you have a receptive audience.

  • want to diversify your marketing efforts

    • Digital marketing such as social media, blogging, podcasting, and youtube can create a farther reach than traditional marketing efforts

  • have “too many” ideas and don’t know where to start

    • whether it’s revamping your practice, adding another source of income, or expanding into workshops or products, I can help you gain clarity and create a step-by-step plan.

What to Expect

Consultation sessions are 50 minutes long and can be conducted over the phone or Zoom, depending on what you prefer. I approach my consultation sessions with a client-centered, yet direct approach to ensure you feel both supported and productive. You can definitely expect to walk away with homework and an action plan!

Consultation Fees

The fee is $250 per session and payment is collected online at the time of booking. You can book one consultation session at a time based on your needs. I do not offer consultation packages at this time, as most folks find 1-2 sessions are exactly what they need.
